CODEM Inc. (Comité Pour Le Développement De Muzac) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, non-political, charitable organization established in the state of Connecticut in May 2012. Our goal is to work collaboratively with all the sectors of the Muzac community of La Vallée de Jacmel to enhance the areas of education, healthcare, living environment and to foster a sustainable community development.
Through tailored projects, we are committed to:
Improving education by providing needed resources to area schools and scholarships to disadvantaged children, upgrading / renovating local schools infrastructure and enhancing academic learning through a high technology-oriented system that meets the 21st century requirements.
Facilitating better health services through community health fairs and helping local health centers to provide better services to the community.
Improving infrastructure and community development by supporting drinking water projects, reforestation, farming, repairing secondary roads and other local organizations’ projects and activities in Muzac.
